Naveetha Nandakumar
About
Dr. Naveetha Nandakumar is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in neurocritical care. Originally from New York, she earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her medical degree at Touro University California in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. Nandakumar completed her neurology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of the largest and busiest hospital systems in the country. There, she cared for a high volume of complex neurologic patients, including extensive experience in the intensive care unit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She then completed a two-year neurocritical care fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, a leading center for neurologic and neurosurgical care, where she trained in the management of critically ill patients in a high-acuity, closed 24-bed neurocritical care unit.
Dr. Nandakumar has a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes for patients with complex neurologic conditions. She is proud to be part of Southern California Neurology Consultants and is dedicated to serving the Pasadena community.
