About

Katie Troxell obtained a Ph.D. in clinical psychology with an emphasis in clinical neuropsychology at Palo Alto University. She obtained specialty training in neuropsychology during her doctoral program at the Veterans Administration, Kaiser, and UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience, where she also developed a passion for working with geriatric populations. Dr. Troxell conducts neuropsychological evaluations with a broad range of adults and older adults with neurological conditions including neurodegenerative disorders, vascular and cerebrovascular conditions, movement disorders, epilepsy/seizure disorders, autoimmune disorders, and neuropsychiatric disorders. Additional interests include the impact of sleep on cognitive and emotional functioning. She works collaboratively with individuals to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral concerns, with a focus on evidence-based assessment and therapeutic interventions. Dr. Troxell is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs.
